Purpose of this page
This page is oriented towards discussing how the Vagus Nerve can be stimulated and whether to using it will increase the activity of my parasympathetic Nervous System safely.
Background
I have been exploring the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) for a while and have learned that activating my Parasympathetic Nervous System (PSNS) seems to make my life more enjoyable. I have been using deep slow breathing to activate my PSNS but as I report in http://hrv.mudie.info it doesn’t seem to be working too well anymore. So, I am wondering if electrically stimulating my Vagus Nerve will do the same thing.
